Niu Qiang, Ph.D.
Niu Qiang, Ph.D. was born and raised in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China. She obtained her bachelor of arts degree (1991) in English from Jilin University; her master of arts degree (1996) in English linguistics from Jilin University, and her Ph.D. (1999) in English linguistics from Shanghai International Studies University. She is currently an associate professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Changchun University in Jilin, China where she teaches psycholinguistics, second language acquisition (SLA), and the testing of English as a second language.

Martin Wolff, J.D. was born in Rochester, New York, USA. He obtained his doctor of jurisprudence degree (1976) from Loyola University in Los Angeles, CA. He has taught international business law, contract law, intercultural business communications, international marketing, and Holistic English. He has been a foreign expert in China as of 2002 and is currently teaching and training others on Holistic English.

Teng Hai, MSM
Associate Professor Teng Hai was born in Liaoning Province and received his bachelor’s degree in English at Zhenghou University (1983) and his master of science degree in management at the Wuhan University of Science and Technology (2008). He has been with Xinyang Agricultural College for the past 14 years and, since 2002, has assumed the additional responsibility as the Director of the Foreign Affairs Office. Mr. Teng was the moving force behind the recent development of the English Department at Xinyang Agricultural College and its accreditation of the Bachelor of Arts degree program in English. Recently, in 2003, Mr. Teng Hai was promoted to Dean of the Foreign Language Department and continues to serve in that position.

Wang Zhe, Ph.D.Wang Zhe, Ph.D. graduated with a master’s degree in applied linguistics from Zhejiang University in 1996 and has been teaching EFL at Sun Yat-sen University for over 13 years. From 2001 to 2005, he attended the PhD program in the Chinese Department of Sun Yat-sen University, while concurrently maintaining his teaching responsibilities. He has chaired several research projects at the provincial levels and published over 20 English textbooks. His research interests are in autonomous language learning and resources development. Liao Yiqing, Ph.D.
Liao Yiqing, Ph.D. is an associate professor and student supervisor in the M.A. program in linguistics at Sun Yat-sen University. From February through August 2009, she was a visiting scholoar at Cambridge University’s Research Centre for English and Applied Linguistics. She has been a university EFL teacher for the past 15 years and has published more than 20 papers in academic journals, a monograph (Language Studies from Critical Perspectives), several textbooks and some translated works (including Macmillan Encyclopedia). Stacy Meeking was born in Melbourne, Australia. He was educated at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia (Mount Eliza Campus), where he received a bachelor of business degree in risk management. He has worked towards his master’s degree in the field of risk management, indigenous leasehold) at NTU in Darwin, Australia. He is an affiliate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Finance and Insurance, having secured awards for the highest exam scores for four subjects in 1994. He served as the president of the Australian Insurance Institute N.T. (AII) for two terms and has sat on the National Board of AII for five years (1994-1999). Edwin Roessler
Edwin Roessler was born in Hartford, Wisconsin, USA. He obtained his bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin in 1978. He retired from a career with the U.S. government in 2003 and became a foreign expert in China that same year where he has continued to live and teach ever since. He has taught classes in business, Western culture, English composition, and conversational English at various universities throughout China, as well as business ethics classes as a cooperating teacher for Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
