BUSINESS CONTRACTS – Elective Course 2/11 (undergraduate)
This Business Contracts course is specifically designed by Professor Martin Wolff, J.D., who has successfully taught in China for 9 years at top tier universities, 2nd tier universities, 3rd tier colleges and business training centers, including PETROCHINA. (http://chinaholisticenglish.org) The goals of this course are to acquaint the English major with a broad exposure to the importance of contracts in our daily lives, the importance of contracts in International Trade, the importance of contracts in China’s development and to give the student a broader world view in preparation for future employment. Business Contracts can be a very boring class but this course and Professor are unlike any other you have ever taken, it is both interesting and exciting. This course does not require memorization of any particular law. The course will be conducted in the Holistic English Lab 7-105 (Chingland) as a conversation class where Chinglish is acceptable. The course workbook was written especially for Chinese students and is supplemented with many interesting and exciting western English movies.

It might be a great choice to take the Business Contracts course .
Most of us are going to take a job after graduation in the near future , so it’s helpful to get some knowledge about business trade for preparation.
I’m interested in chapter seven , maybe we’ll have a more clear understanding of the business contracts after learning about how they solve the big issues in business trade.
I used to think that Business English is very difficult,it is filled with incomprehensible vocabulary
,it is dull、tedious and boring.But when I see that,I think it should be right and interesting.Maybe someday I will try it.
wow~ They will love your class~ so different from traditional Enlish or business class.
i think is usefull for every majoy’s students.it will help us in the furture life.for example ,once you graduation we first have a contract with the company. so it is better for us to have some knowledge about contract.
As an engineering student I have never taken a Business Contracts course.Maybe it is a chance for me to learn the knowledge.
Although Marketing is not my marjor,I want to learn about the knowledge of this area.It is very important and useful.
Modern society is a legal one,we will do everying by law,we will hunt for the job after graduate,and a contract must be concluded with the company.So it’s helpful to learn some business contract knowledge.

It sounds this course will be very interesting and exciting. The biggest benefit, in my eyes, is that we won’t be perplexed in our future employment.
It is a good news to be the students majoring in International Trade.The course is usefully to all the students,especially the students of International Trade.Todey I also read the mail from Martin,my teacher,it is really a good news or us to be his students in the next semester
It is my belief that this course is useful for most of students in our school.I think I will go to learn this course if I have free time.
Business Contracts course,I think,is difficult to our girl students majoring science to some extent.But I believe our prefessor will give the student a broader world view in preparation for future employment and let us take this course easily.
Contracts are important in International Trade. If we don’t know how to make contracts with foreign businessmen, we will lose our chance for money. Although I may have no chance to take this course, I will watch the movies listing on your course outline.

This course is very advantageous to us. Not only can learn about law and Contract of information, but also can learn many commercial English expression.
In the past several years,China is trying to make the society with laws.So,whatever we will do in the future,it is important to learn some laws especially about business.This course is a better way to learn laws because of the special teaching methord.
The contracts are really very important for everyone.It can be described as a protector for us.In everyfield,It can protect our intrests from being hurted,just like the labor contracts to protect the worker and boss,the trade contracts to protect the businessman even the patents in the academic field.
