Language and culture go together like a horse and carriage. Many have observed that China attempts to teach English in the same manner as any other subject. In fact, what China is doing is attempting to teaching English without the western culture that makes the language contextually comprehensible. The University web site was most encouraging. E-Club E-Club is built on April 2005. It is a student academic organization of Harbin Institute of Tech nology (H.I.T). E-Club is led by the Postgraduate Research Institute of H.I.T. [...] After having BE class, I decided to decorate my door of my dorm. And after doing the decoration, I just got a lot of fun. just for fun^_^ The creation of an English Speaking Environment is critical for 2nd language acquisition. Language acquisition occurs when their is comprehensible input in a friendly environment. Language acquisition occurs when there is language and cultural immersion.
