The debate rages on – what is Standard English?
There are those who advocate learning Standard British English, Standard American English or Standard International English.
Linguists and language scholars have conjured up such concepts in their own minds but no such Standard English actually exists in reality.
Chinese scholars admonish their students to “master” Standard English. The Chinese scholars deliver this sage advice in Mandarin because they have not mastered any Standard English. Why? Because it exists only in their academic minds.

I am sorry to say that I don’t know what is standard English.What I want to say is that for most Chinese student,English is only a tool
Today all of things develop follow their standards. We also know that standard is a form that exited in human’s mind. There are many English-speaking countries, their pronunciation are different and the pronunciation will also change day and day. So I can understand that there maybe no Standard English.
In the groble world,English becomes crucial gradually as a commucating tool.Maybe the standord does not exist.Most language learners can not learn the standord English.It can be said that we are all bilingual.Whether we can speak standord English is ok only if we can talk well with each other in Ebglish.
Yes ,there is not standard English in the world.There are so many English-speak countries in the world.And every country has its own style English.So what’s the standard English.What’s more, the teachers who teach us English have different understanding about English.when they teach us ,we learn different styles English.Thus, there is not really standard English in the world.
English is a kind of language, including American English, International English, black English and some others, the sort are numerous, therfore, standard English is not exist in the world.
