The west can continue to kill Al-Qaida and Taliban wherever they are found, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Iraq, Philippines, but to what end, what result? After 10 years of killing Al-Qaida and Taliban in Afghanistan and Iraq, there is still no victory in sight. The civil war in the Philippines rages on unabated.
China can continue to ban the Falun Gong, and suppress calls for an independent Tibet and Xinjiang, but to what end, what result? After decades of suppression, the Falun Gong continues to exist in underground churches throughout China and both Tibet and Xinjiang experienced severe riots in 2009.
The cold war was all about killing the idea of Communism and Socialism. The cold war failed in its objective so the west abandoned it in favor of a new policy of engagement. The WTO, World Bank and IMF are all tools of this new engagement policy to win the hearts and minds of communists and socialists through economic coercion, stick and carrot, and to convert them to believers in democracy.
This new engagement strategy is a monumental failure. Communist China is politically and economically stronger than ever and no closer to democracy. It was China that came to the financial rescue of the USA in the 2009 global financial crisis.
You can kill people who do not think the way you want them to think but an idea can’t be killed. Ideas live forever and someone, somewhere, will resurrect an idea sooner or later.
To create a truly harmonious global society we need to find a new approach to handling contrary ideas because trying to kill them just does not work. As a global society we need to stop killing the messengers and start dealing with the messages.
I am hoping for the real harmony society, I always want to believe in someone, even if strangers, I do, really. And I wish those bad people won’t be too many to make my “innocent” thoughts stay.
Killing maybe is a better way to the people who are crazy and cann’t acccept others words!Someone think so!

Every race has rights to exist and live in the world.There are no races which can massacre other races and stand alone.

Yes,I agree with that killing is not able to solve the problem such falun gong.But,did other methods work?I don’t think so.
War brings a lot of damage to people all over the world, but the war is endless, every day has war occurred. So why? Just to slay those who don’t obey? Harmonious world does’t need violence, it needs human peace. The war killed a group of disobedience, then there is more people who don’t obey will stand up. We should look out a way for changing the thoughts of those who don’t obey, let them fuse into the peaceful world from the thought. Military solution is always forcing on the surface of problems,it can’t solve the problems.
I approve of your idea.Militant is human nature.We consider fighting and beating as the most simple and effective method for solving problems,as if it’s really a good way sometimes.We hope no violence but it will need a long time.
Killing is not a way to get out.It only increase the hostility to each other.Every race has rights to exist and live in the world,the only thing we can do is try to understand each other.
