Frankly speaking, I agree with the viewpoint expressed in this article by DENGXIAOPING. Our history of the past 30 years has proved what Deng Xiaoping said is right. If we want to learn from other nations, we need to communicate with each other. Difference makes progress, so we should hold the debates and discussions among persons of different opinions. So do different cultures and nations.

All great truths come from debates and discussions. It is also true in scientific area. What Deng Xiaoping had said about science and education is very impressive and correct. No theory can stand firmly in its area without any questioning and challenging. Sometimes we may not be able to reach a conclusion after debates. But without debates, improvement can never be made. To create a tolerant environment for different opinions is what Deng Xiaoping wanted us to do. Different opinions work only when they are spoken out. I really appreciate what I have learned at Holistic English. I have never talked about my own opinions so often before.

Deng Xiaoping may be the highest praised political leader in Chinese contemporary history; at least I think so. The main reason is that he liberates the thought of most Chinese people. Some people may think that even what Deng said makes sense, it is not so particular, and I could come up with similar ideas too. But at his time, only Deng succeed, others were still confined in the blindly worship towards Mao Zedong. It is Deng who dare to tell the truths and push them forward.
I cannot agree with Deng’s remarks more. The only way to examine a theory is to carry it out. You have you unique idea of teaching English in China, and you are practicing it. I really appreciate that. Even though some people don’t accept it, I still believe it is a good try and time will tell the result. Wish your special pedagogical method every success in China.

Generally speaking, I agree with Deng Xiaoping’s philosophy. He using his own theory led Chinese people out of a Chinese road, in other words, it is the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics. He proposed emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts. Of course, this thought is to the benefit of modernization of China’s educational system. It can help to build good academic atmosphere, develop the academic freely and form a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend situation.

Deng Xiaoping is a great man in Chinese history.No one will doubt it.Without it I don’t know if I can live in such a confortable environment.Without it I don’t know if I can get so good education.He is my best respectful man I have knew.HK is back,Macao is back after it ,too.Even the enemy would admit that Deng Xiaoping is one of the great men they have ever seen.Practise is the most important,other than the words.Just do it .You can goes on it if it works.if not,just change to another way.Many of the words he said become the best way when we do things.

There is an old Chinese saying which means if we talk with a person of honour , it is better than learning in a school for ten years. In the other hand, debate is a must ,too .Deng Xiaoping was a great man and he did huge contribution to the development of China. I totally agree with Deng Xiaoping’s opinion about scientific achievement and debates.
It is obviously that each person has his own thought about one thing and each thing has many aspects. No one can take care of every aspect and make a comprehensible conclusion. If we can summaries most of acknowledgements of this thing, we can achieve a high cognitive level of the thing.

1977，to a generational Chinese it is a special year for all of their life. Deng Xiao ping open the door to the university which ever have closed for entirely ten years. It changes not only the personality’s destiny, but the future of the whole country is changed. It makes this long history nation on the right way of science and progress. In the entrance examination of collage, some guy has not a younger, may be thirty old. In the past unbelievable ten years, they are delayed. The government just wakes up. And they have the chance to change their destiny by themselves capacity. To those men, Deng is a great political to do this.

I admit that he is a great man..China have changed so much and become better and better.He contributes a lot.Especially the policy of reform and opening to the outside world need to be remembered.With the development of our economic about 30 years,many people are richer and richer. But we have also to notice that China have many problems with the development of society.In China, the west and the east may have large diffference .That is to say the poor is more poor and the rich is richer.He is also a great leader on education.We should remenber him forever.

As we all know, DengXiaoping is a great man who has changed our life in the recent 30 years. And in the history of reforming education, he also has done a great job. About 30 years ago, our high education was almost palsied for the Cultural Revolution. In this critical moment, DengXiaoping stood out and said to recover the high education. From then on, our education began to step into a new century.
Although we still have some problem in education such as unreasonable system or mechanism, but we must thank him for the decision. We will resolve all the problem step by step and we all believe it.
