Now you can live better but what about the Wal-Mart employees? Yeah, you are right, who cares?
Never have I thought that such a retail giant like wal-mart should pay little for employees’ public assistance including health care fees, housing subsides and food stamps. And what I know is that goods in wal-mart are in low prices and well quality rather than how wal-mart achieving the unbelievable successes in retail chains field. Though I have to admitted the big complishment made by wal-mart, we should notice that such a global company is sort of some sexual discrimination problems. That should be a huge shame for wal-mart.
In conlusion, the low price in wal-mart is based on the employees’ high loss.
As the largest of supermarket in the world, the company of Wal-Mart makes much money from the society every year, so it should take more responsibility to the society. I think the real reason for the employees’ little salary is the company rather than the consumer.
The Warl-Mart is the biggest market in all of the world.But Warl-Mart treat unwell with their employees, such as the sexual harassment,abuse the employees, hostile acquisition, etc. Although the Warl-Mart apply to the cheapest goods for the consumers, they also get much more money and monoploy the marketing.We are unaware of the dangers which our domestic marketing is shrinking in the long run. So we must realise that protecting the domestic markets is necessary for us.
As a supermarket, Wal-Mart is well-known for its cheap goods, while there are so many thing that it did to the employees:gender discrimination, longer working hours, pay cuts and so on. It is the employees who create the benefit, so I think their power should be protected. No one cares them, so they should care themselves and work together to fight for their rights.
Wal-mart is a big famous company, its commitment is “everyday parity” ,it is not a slogan, but rather through low purchase price, low cost, low markup “three low” mode of operation.Although it has some negative reports, such as low wages, sexual harassment, but I think it still is a good company in the world.
After the movie, everyone exactly knows how W-M does its business. I thought it was wrong when our government asked W-M to get out of China, because its propaganda is full of discounts. Now I know that if we still allow W-M to do business as it usually does, it will do great harm to our market, maybe monopoly it. So compared with METRO, W-M is such a bad supermarket.
If every customer in China refuses to go to Wal-Mart,Wal-Mart will fail to manage in China and go out of the Chinese market of itself.Chinese government will not need to limit the development of Wal-Mart in China.But you know,as Wal-Mart provides low price for customers,customers like Wal-Mart very much and pretend to ignore employees in China who are not happy to work in Wal-Mart.
As a business, it should do the following: create value for customers, creating opportunities for employees, create wealth for society.
